Q414:  I am a 100% disabled veteran.  I have filed my 2018 & 2019 income taxes but have owed taxes each year. Do I still get a stimulus check?

A1:  If you meet the income requirements, yes, you should get a stimulus payment. But since you owed additional taxes the past several years, the IRS may not have a direct deposit bank account in your file. While the VA is supposed to be providing the IRS with direct deposit info for Veterans receiving disability payments, those stimulus payments are coming later in the process. Check the IRS website for a status update, and watch your mailbox or bank account.  (DJ)  5/10/20
