Q366:  All of my medical records with the VA indicate that I am not married and that I never was married.  I don’t understand why?  All paperwork I completed with the VA I wrote in that I was married.  I am working with the VA to get this corrected and when it is fixed will I get back pay?

A1:  Gather all evidence of the marriage , your proof of service and ID. Then contact DEERS or go to the nearest military personnel office if you have installation access.  (RK)  2/23/20

     

A2:  Submit VA 21-686c with copy of marriage license. If you are 30% or above you will be compensated for a wife. You will be compensated from time of submission.  (GH)  2/23/20
