Q127: I have a 10% disability rating for hearing loss. My hearing loss has been recently rated as severe and my tinnitus has been upgraded to severe as well. I also have weekly bouts with severe imbalance while turning quickly. Am I eligible for additional disability compensation?

A1: I think you should. I have the same problem but not as severe and I am at 10% too. It should be more. (JW) 9/15/18
A2: No, I have 10% for tinnitus only. (RE) 9/15/18
A3: Probably, if you see the right VSO. I have 10% for tinitus and 30% for hearing loss. I get along fine with my VA-provided hearing aids which would run around $5,000-$6,000 at market prices. (AD) 6/11/20
