Q93:  I was recently denied compensation for a sleeping disorder disability claim. Can I actually be compensated for my disability by the VA?

A1:   In order to be compensated for a disability, you must meet three conditions: First, you must have an illness or injury in service. Second, you must have a nexus of care from service to the present. Third, you must have a current diagnosis. You must meet all three. You were probably denied because you didn't have the sleeping disorder in service, or else you can't prove that you did.  (AP)  8/4/18
