When it comes to what the veterans need, our needs are not being met with what we need but what the system want to give. A good example is when I had vision implants in both eyes and needed a simple eye drop because the eye drop medication that the VA issued to me in the past was too strong and did not have the proper ingredients that my eyes needed after surgery. Also, I was told by my doctor and the pharmacy that the eye drops the VA gave me would have to work because they were not going to get the one that the doctor wrote my prescription for, so I had to go out and buy the proper eye drops from a community pharmacy.
